Aureos Capital has boosted its London team with the hire of Lloyd West as associate principal.
West comes in from UK-based private equity placement firm MVision Private Equity Advisers, where he held the role of associate. At Aureos, he will focus on strategic initiatives, reviewing potential portfolio companies and investor relations.
West had been at MVision since 2007, covering deal co-ordination, industry research and deal execution. During his tenure, he supported the fundraising and marketing activities of a number of private equity managers, including Brait Private Equity, Butler Capital Partners, Catalyst Principal Partners, Equis Funds Group, EQT Partners, Gilde Buyout Partners and Segulah.
He was also responsible for maintaining relationships with investor communities in Europe, particularly the Nordic region, and the Middle East.
